10/4 Working Pattern Confirmed from July 2026

Following a meeting between MEH senior management and the client, a decision was made to implement the 10 On – 4 Off pattern effective July 2026. All new starters are already on this pattern. UNITE is working on negotiating the best possible terms for members.

Bank Holidays Confirmed 2026

August Bank Holiday — How it Works Under 10/4

If you work a bank holiday you are paid at overtime rate and the holiday goes into your pot. If the bank holiday falls on a rest day the holiday also goes into your pot. These will be held for Christmas, along with two additional annual leave days.

Earnings Comparison — Grade 5 ECSA Day & Night

With just 2 extra OT days/nights per month, the 10/4 pattern can exceed current 11 On 3 Off earnings. Full weekly breakdown now available for dayshift and nightshift.
